What is the Furture of Zomato, UberEats and Swiggy in India

What's the biggest issue I faced with ZOMATO.

Mistakenly ordered beef item, payment done without any confirmation through Linked Mobiquik app by my dad. Immediately snatched phone called up restaurant and told them not to pack, called up delivery person tk not take order. Cancelled order on Zomato within 3 minutes.

Guess what, they stiffed me for 500 rupees.

My revenge I make fake orders every month to see zomato suffer.

Btw talked to restaurant owner later and he told me he'll give me 50% off if I came to his restaurant and for bill amount below 1000. He was such a nice muslim host.

Oh also turns out a dish that costs 45 at his place costs 67 on Zomato/swiggy/uber eats.

One paratha costs 10 at his place 25 on apps

1 beef biriyani 85 at his place 105–120 on apps.

Over this these appwalas charge 25 delivery, plus 10 rupees restaurant packaging charges.

Owner explained that their commission is so high that they can't do anything.

What's the biggest issue with swiggy?

Overpriced and charge extra like hell just like Zomato and uber eats.

Customer support is great even in case of cancellation.

What's the biggest issue with uber eats?

Cancellation charges are same as what the order costs even of you order biriyani and the reason they cite is sir food already cooked na. Plus most exoensive of the lot, not only do they charge for delivery but they add surge charge and may deliver 2 hrs late even.

There is lot of scope.

•Lower Overpriced menu prices

•If menu overpriced then why charge extra for delivery, then extra for surge charge

•Easy cancellation, no scamming of customer. Zomato scams by immediately declaring order accepted as soon as you place order and refuse refund by saying sir food started cooking. In which world is biriyani started cooking on order, in which Nation beef items like beef roast and beef stew (cooking time of 8–12 hrs) are made to order.

•Stop onboarding of roadside eateris which serve rotten food, stop adding illegal eateries, stop polishing up the above mentioned eateries and then saying that you serve cheapest food by serving absolutely roadaide thela food in name of restaurant.
